I feel kind of bad asking for another story so soon, but everyone is so fantastic here.  All's I really remember is that Sheppard's Dad who is a General I believe, comes to Atlantis. Somewhere along the way, he tries to convince John to go to Area 51. I think he then tries to kidnap him. There might be a coup(?) of some kind. It's a fairly long story if I remember correctly. Hello again guys, I'm on the lookout for a fic where Rodney goes to earth for a conference / award ceremony and Teyla goes with him.
She hangs around in the hotel alot and when she goes out she gets upset that no-one seems to care about homeless people.
I think Rodney realises he has feelings for her etc possibly after phoning John (who is on earth as well) for advice but as per this community I may be mixing fics lol!

Hi there,

I'm looking for a fic set in a bar on Earth where random, non-SGC soldiers (wannabe soldiers?) accuse Zelenka of being gay in front of (at least) Sheppard, Lorne, and Ronon. There's a bar fight, jerks on report, and Zelenka's "I really am gay" gets a "Yeah, so?" reaction. (I don't think there were any pairings.)

Are there any private scholarships that are geared towards helping you live off-campus in an apartment? Or, if necessary, ones that focus on having an apartment because of unique circumstances?

If not, have you ever tried to get financial aid or scholarships (merit or need) transferred over to help pay your rent?

I go to art school in Boston, and we are joined with a university in Cambridge. We use their facilities, including the dining halls and the dorms. Us art school students have to take a shuttle over to our school in Boston every day for classes. The ride takes 20 minutes to almost an hour depending on traffic. Also, if you miss your shuttle in the morning, you're fucked. Good luck with THAT train or bus route during rush hour. No matter what you do, you'll be an hour or more late for class.

I currently get up at 6:30 AM every day to take the 7:30 AM shuttle, and wait for my 8:00 AM class... or my 8:30 AM class.

I am looking to get an apartment next year in the next town over. It could be a 15-20 minute walk, a swift bike ride, or a quick bus ride to my school. Also, I would save $6,000 a year living in an apartment (this counts not having to deal with the exorbitant... and poop-inducing... meal plan. blah!).

Could I get a decent non need based scholarship with a 29 ACT (29 English, 25 Math, 32 Reading, 31 Science), about a 3.7-4.0 GPA (Not exactly sure), a heavy course load (2 APs, 3 Honors) and a few extracurriculars? (NHS, Mentoring, and some volunteering). I'm currently a junior in high school, so some of this may change by my senior year. (I plan on taking 3 more AP classes senior year, so it would be 5 APs total.) So would I be able to get a non need based scholarship, and if not, do you think there's anything I should do by my senior year to change that?

I would REALLY love to read some dark, angsty fic of Kutner and his depression and why and when he committed suicide. Bonus points for House being the one to blame/blaming himself. Even more bonus points for a fic with Kutner's suicide note! There MUST be something out there about this! It went so surprising and unexplained...

Hi I need help. I'm looking for a fic that I thought I'd seen the request for it here (that's how I found it in the first place) but now I'm not sure. It's about a case House was treating that went bad and he ended up in prison. While in prison he gets hooked on a drug named, I'm pretty sure it was called GUN, to deal with his leg pain. It was a really great story. It's told from Wilson's POV, he's old and talking to a reporter in a state run nursing home. I know I read it because it was really long, that I do remember. Really thought I had saved it. Also I think it was on ff.net. I've looked through all the entries and haven't found it. Any help would be greatly appreciated because it really was a fantastic story. Thank you :-)
